Wilson Antonio Evora, A.k.A Ja, unfortunately passed away at 43 years old at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI. He was the son of late Ana Rodrigues and the son of Joao Evora. He leaves behind his wife, Tanea Lopes, His three children, Jayden, Aaliyah and Alana Evora, his 6 siblings, and countless cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends from all over the globe.
Wilson was born on August 30th, 1978 in Praia, Cape Verde. He moved to America and had his first child in 2004. From that moment on, he was the most caring father you could imagine. He loved soccer, football and basketball passionately. He would share his passions with his children for hours at a time whether it be at the soccer field, playground, or the basketball hoop, finding a way to make fun out of nothing was something Wilson loved to do. Trips with his children to parks, bakeries, or just some backyard games with them are what defined him as a loving father. He loved to spend time with family and friends catching up with them on their lives and showing genuine care for them. He loved the Patriots, Celtics, and of course FC Porto. Gathering with the people in his life to watch these games was one of his favorite things to do. He will be dearly missed by many and will always remain in our hearts.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, June 19th at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln from 2pm-5pm. Burial will be held on Monday, June 20th DIRECTLY at North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence at 10am.
